Greg Hess, Pima County chief medical examiner in southern Arizona, said forensic anthropologists should eventually be able to determine the sex of the babies based on the DNA results. They should also be able to determine if the babies were full term by examining the bones.
Two of the Guatemalans were teenagers: 18-year-old Evelio Soloman Santos and 17-year-old Jorge Mario Alvarado Perez. The age for the third Guatemalan, Willian Adilio Perez Paxtor, has not been determined, Medical Examiner Dr. Greg Hess said.
