Abstract:

A yo-yo includes an adjustable clutch mechanism having a pair of arms having flyweights mounted thereto and pivotally mounted within a cavity in one of the yo-yo halves. The arms include gear teeth that mesh with gear teeth on a movable member such that pivoting of the arms causes linear actuation of the movable member. The movable member includes engagement teeth that engage a spool. An adjuster mechanism includes a threaded bolt and a limiter threaded onto the bolt. The limiter is positioned by rotating the bolt. The position of the limiter determines the range of motion of the movable member.

Abstract:

A mechanical game device for use with rolling balls. The device includes a base block with a plurality of ball receiver pockets that are visible to the player. Located in the base block are a plurality of code blocks adapted for selective insertion in the base block in interchangeable side-by-side relation. Each block has a column of vertical holes that align with the vertical holes of adjacent code blocks to form rows of holes, one hole of each row being a code hole. The base block and code blocks define a number of concealed passages or race means adapted to guide balls through the device to one of a plurality of receiver pockets.

A game call includes a hollow tubular body having an opening, and a subassembly comprising a wedge, reed, and tone board inserted at least partially into the opening. The tone board and wedge include complementary projections that resist relative axial movement between the wedge and the tone board to permit systematic incremental tuning of the game call.
