    The sunvisor attachment apparatus of the present invention includes a mounting bezel configured to retain a sunvisor sub-assembly. The mounting bezel includes an alignment protrusion adapted to align the mounting bezel relative to the vehicle. The alignment protrusion includes a mounting clip configured to temporarily retain the mounting bezel to the vehicle. The mounting bezel also includes an attachment boss positioned to align with a complementary attachment feature of the vehicle when the mounting bezel is aligned with the vehicle. The sunvisor attachment apparatus also includes a fastener configured to more permanently attach the mounting bezel to the vehicle. Advantageously, the temporary retention of the mounting bezel to the vehicle allows the fastener to be driven to more permanently attach the mounting bezel to the vehicle in a simplified hands-free manner.

    A shade assembly for a vehicle is provided that includes a shade member that is “integrated” or “hidden” within vehicle body structure when not in use and yet is easily movable to a use position in which it covers a portion of an adjacent window. A shade member is operatively connected to the vehicle body structure and is configured to selectively move between a stowed position and a use position. The shade member at least partially covers a surface of the window in the use position. The window is substantially uncovered by the shade member in the stowed position because the shade member is nested in the cavity within the body structure.

The method includes providing an attachment structure for attaching the first device to the second device that includes a fastener that is movable from a first position to a second position within the attachment structure, moving the first device into position to be attached to the second device with the fastener in the first position, obscuring an attachment detection window with a window barrier fixed to the fastener, securing the first device to the second device by sliding the fastener from the first position to the second position, locking the fastener in the second position, revealing the attachment detection window when the fastener is locked in the second position, and reading the attachment detection window to detect that the first device has been properly attached to the second device.
