Abstract:
An electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding system includes one or more electrically conductive gaskets placed between electronic circuit cards in a card rack. The conductive gaskets are affixed to circuit cards to form a conductive shield, at the end of the card rack that is nearest the door of the cabinet in which the card racks are mounted. A gasket is attached to each circuit card within a rack, the gasket âfillingâ the space between the faceplates of two adjacent circuit cards.

Abstract:
A method for linearizing amplifiers by measuring the intermodulation products at the output of the linearized amplifier using minimum additional hardware without the performance problems associated with pilot tones. In one embodiment, the amplifiers are adaptively linearized using performance monitoring radios. Specifically, the performance monitoring radios are used to measure the signal levels of the intermodulation products in unused communication channels. Such measurements are then used to adaptively linearize the amplifiers and reduce the levels of intermodulation products.

Abstract:
A band-pass filter comprising a plurality of coupled electromechanical filters is disclosed. Each electromechanical filter has a frequency pass-band centered about a fundamental frequency and a plurality of higher frequency pass-bands which are centered about overtones of the fundamental frequency. At least one of the electromechanical filters has a fundamental frequency that is different from the other filters and all the filters have a common overtone frequency. The band-pass filter will pass all frequencies falling within the band about the common overtone frequency, while all other frequencies will be suppressed.
