My doctoral dissertation is entitled "Mental Stillness: A Qualitative Exploratory Study of the Lived Experience of Intensive Samatha-Anapanasati Meditation Practitioners," and I have an extensive background in mindfulness and concentration meditation training, and in the study of Buddhist and other spiritual traditions. I incorporate mindfulness-based interventions and mindfulness meditation training in my clinical work when appropriate.
