I was born and raised in Maine and, after marrying my High School sweetheart, have been a military wife for over 19 years. We have been stationed in many great locations around the US and abroad, but the East Coast will always be home to me and I hope to help you find your dream home as well. In the last 19 years, I have relocated 11 times; twice to the DC area! I have always been an active volunteer in every community we've resided in; including eight different Spouses' Club boards, various advisory committee's and, most recently, I was the Senior FRG Advisor for the Stryker battalion my husband commanded in Germany. During this tour I also had the honor of advising Army Community Service, served as the welfare chair of the community spouses club, and participated in senior spouse round tables. My most rewarding military spouse experience was mentoring, coaching and advising approximately 75 volunteers, FRG leaders, and fellow Army spouses in the unit. I have worked in the past as a tax consultant and preparer. This has helped to give me great insight in the realm of real estate tax and the importance a home can make in your financial endeavors. I may be fairly new to the Virginia real estate market, but my experience with my own multiple military moves and past career as a tax consultant helps to give me the experience and financial expertise I need to help guide you through the entire transaction process to help make it smooth. I will be your marketing manager, transaction coordinator, community consultant, and property specialist. I am an experienced negotiator and a trusted advisor, and will bend over backwards to help you get your dream home.
