Abstract:Disclosed are methods for improving insulin sensitivity and/or glucose metabolism in individuals with abnormal glucose tolerance. Such methods may be used in treating conditions associated with abnormal glucose tolerance and metabolism in mammals, including insulin resistance, insulin resistant metabolic syndrome, impaired glucose tolerance, impaired fasting glucose, hypertension, hypercholestemia and diabetes, particularly Type 2 diabetes.
