Abstract:

A mobile computerized device receives an indication of a first user input comprising a button actuation to initiate a push-to-talk voice search. The device receives from the user a spoken search phrase comprising one or more search terms, and receives an indication of a second user input comprising releasing the actuated button which indicates that the user has finished speaking the search phrase. The mobile device generates a search query using the one or more search terms in the spoken search phrase, responsive to receiving the second user input. In a further example, the computerized mobile device displays one or more likely text search phrases derived from the spoken search phrase via voice-to-text conversion, receives a user input indicating which of the likely text search phrases is an intended search phrase, and uses the intended search phrase as the one or more search terms used in generating the search query.

Abstract:

Conducting offline transactions comprises associating, using one or more computing devices, a user computing device with a payment account of a user and a counter-party computing device with a payment account of a counter-party, the user computing device and the counter-party computing device being activated to conduct transactions utilizing the accounts; receiving a transaction request from the user computing device indicating that an offline transaction was conducted with the counter-party computing device; conducting a transfer of funds from the payment account of the user to the payment account of the counter-party; providing a confirmation of the transfer to the user computing device and a confirmation of the transfer to the counter-party computing device; and providing an updated balance of the peer-to-peer payment account of the user to the user computing device and an updated balance of the payment account of the counter-party to the counter-party computing device.

Abstract:

An email payment system and method to provide users with the ability to initiate and send payments to one more recipients via email messaging. A user interface is provided in an email client that allows a user to insert payment with the email. Payment details are collected through one or more payment modals displayed in the email client. A payment object is inserted into the body of the email and is displayed to both the sender and recipient. The payment details captured in the payment object are communicated to a payment processor. The payment processor uses electronic payment accounts associated with the corresponding sender and recipient email addresses to identify the relevant electronic payment accounts and transfer the payment between said accounts. A status of the payment transaction is tracked and displayed within the payment object of the emails residing in both the sender and recipient email client.
