Abstract:

A device for repairing a tear in a portion of tissue comprises a proximal actuator portion, a transfer needle extending distally from the proximal actuator portion and a catch needle extending distally from the proximal actuator portion. A suture needle is disposed in the transfer needle, and is extendable from the transfer needle toward the catch needle and retractable from the catch needle toward the transfer needle. An extendable catch plunger is disposed in the catch needle for capturing suture therein when it is transferred from the transfer needle. A retractable insertion sheath is provided for covering the transfer needle and the catch needle when the device is inserted into a procedural site. A depth limiting apparatus limits the depth of insertion of the needle into the procedural site.

Abstract:

Systems and methods of managing concurrent access using different network identities using a shared baseband hardware implementation are described. A wireless apparatus comprises a computing device, a baseband device, the baseband device including at least a modem processor, and computer readable storage medium that stores one or more instructions. The instructions, when executed by the computing device, are configured to associate a first identity of the wireless apparatus with a first wireless network, associate a second identity of the wireless apparatus with a second wireless network, enable the first identity to communicate over the first wireless network using the baseband device, and enable the second identity to communicate over the second wireless network using the baseband device. Data obtained by concurrently utilizing the baseband device utilizing different network identities and different networks can be aggregated on the wireless apparatus.

Disclosure herein are knotless suture anchor constructs and methods of use thereof. The suture anchor constructs can include a bone anchor and a suture. A method of anchoring soft tissue to a suitable bone site, using a soft suture anchor, includes steps of disposing the soft suture anchor on a shaft of an inserter, and securing a proximal end of a tensioning suture limb, extending proximally from the soft suture anchor, to structure in a handle of the inserter, so that it is maintained in place at a first level of holding tension (T). The inserter shaft is inserted into a bone hole at a desired procedural site, so that the soft suture anchor is positioned at a location where it is to be anchored. A further step involves actuating a control mechanism in the inserter handle to move the structure proximally to apply a second level of deployment tension (T) to the tensioning suture limb.
