Abstract:

Disclosed is a polymer blend composition containing a branched aromatic carbonate polymer and a rubber-modified monovinylidene aromatic copolymer comprising a star-branched rubber and optionally, a linear rubber. The polymer blend compositions according to the invention have a desirable balance of processability and when molded, impact strength.

Abstract:

A cation exchanging layered material having a cation exchange capacity satisfied by ion-exchangeable organic and inorganic cations, the ion-exchangeable organic cation content of the betastructured cation exchanging layered material being in the range of from ten to ninety-five percent of the cation exchange capacity of the cation exchanging layered material. Abstract:

The invention provides a film comprising at least two layers, Layer A and Layer B, and wherein Layer A is formed from a Composition A comprising the following: i) an olefin-based polymer, ii) at least one polyalkylene-oxide selected from the group consisting of the following: a) EOxPOyEOz, where x is from 1 to 50; y is from 1 to 100; and z is from 1 to 50; b) POxEOy. POz, where x is from 1 to 100; y is from 1 to 50; and z is from 1 to 100; c) EOxPOy, where x is from 1 to 50; and y is from 1 to 100; and d) combinations thereof; and wherein the Layer B is formed from Composition B comprising an olefin-based polymer. The invention also provides a laminated film comprising a film and a substrate, and wherein the film comprises at least one Layer A formed from a Composition A and wherein the substrate comprises a polyester, a polyamide, an olefin-based polymer, or a combination thereof.
