Abstract:

A system and method for testing a set top box includes a test manager module in communication with the set top box having a test script including a bitstream. A bitstream player in communication with the test manager module receives the bitstream and communicates the bitstream to the set top box. The test manager module receives a screen image from the set top box that is generated in response to the bitstream. An optical character recognition module performs optical character recognition to obtain a test text string from the screen image. The test manager module compares the test text string with an expected text string. A report module generates a report in response to comparing.

Abstract:

Systems and arrangements for event analysis and processing control are provided. In some examples, a request for a deposit may be received by a financial institution. The deposit may include deposit data, such as an amount, a payer, a routing number associated with a financial institution of the payer, a payee name, an account of the payee, and the like. The deposit data may be analyzed to determine whether the deposit qualifies for modified processing. If so, an account associated with the payee may be evaluated to determine a current balance of the account. If the account balance meets predetermined criteria, an instruction modifying the account may be executed. The deposit may then be processed. Accounts flagged for modified processing may be evaluated to determine whether the time period for modified processing has expired. If so, instructions causing further modification of the account may be executed.

Abstract:

A tamper-resistant fastener such as a nut for a bicycle has a smoothly rounded generally dome-shaped body and one or more recesses formed into the body. Each recess has a first and open ended portion which is bounded on radially inward side but not on the radially outward side, and a second and closed ended portion which is bounded on both the radially inward side and the radially outward side. Additionally, each recess can have an additional notch formed therein, the recess and notch together forming a major and minor recess. A wall which bounds the radially inward side of the recess decreases in radial distance from the central axis of the nut as the recess proceeds in the circumferential direction. A mating wrench has teeth that match the recesses and, if present, the notches.

Abstract:

A prerendered line texture stored in memory is used to generate an anti-aliased destination line in any direction to be displayed on a screen. A combination of tiling, stretching, and/or mirroring is used to generate the anti-aliased destination line. A blitter blits a rectangle in the prerendered line texture to a destination rectangle in the frame buffer that is displayed on the screen.
