    49039288, Feb 27, 1990
  • Filed:
    Jun 23, 1988
  • Appl. No.:
    7/212162
  • Inventors:
Irving W. Shell - Pompano Beach FL
  • Assignee:

  • International Classification:
    A47B 9606
  • US Classification:
    2482251
  • Abstract:
An improved bracket arrangement for a slotted wall system is disclosed. The arrangement provides for vertically positioning the bracket regardless of the angle of the slots along the wall. A rotatable positioning bar is attached to the back of the bracket which allows the bar to be positioned transverse to the longitudinal axis of the slot while the bracket is maintained in a vertical orientation. Cam means are used to wedge the bar of the bracket and the back of the bracket between the slot and the face of the wall.
  • Hingeless Assembly For A Display System

  • US Patent:
    49681710, Nov 6, 1990
  • Filed:
    Jan 26, 1989
  • Appl. No.:
    7/301725
  • Inventors:
Irving W. Shell - Pompano Beach FL
  • Assignee:
Friedkin Industries, Inc. - Boca Raton FL
  • International Classification:
    E04B 1343
  • US Classification:
    403 4
  • Abstract:
A hingeless assembly for a modular display panel system is disclosed. The hingeless assembly includes a first portion which allows for attachment thereto of a flat plate wall panel and a second section for attaching an adjacent hingeless assembly thereto. The hingeless assembly of the present invention may be joined to another hingeless assembly with an angle of from zero to ninety degrees therebetween so as to form a display panel system of virtually any shape conceivable. The hingeless assembly attachment portion comprises an extending circular member and an extending parallel arranged cup-like member. The attachment portion of the hingeless assembly allows for connection thereto of another hingeless assembly with the cup-like and circular members of one of the assemblies respectively fitting with the circular member and the cup-like member of the other assembly so as to form a rotatable angle therebetween.
  • Connector Arrangement

  • US Patent:
    47752599, Oct 4, 1988
  • Filed:
    Dec 7, 1987
  • Appl. No.:
    7/129761
  • Inventors:
Irving Shell - Pompano Beach FL
  • Assignee:
Benada Aluminum of Florida, Inc. - Boca Raton FL
  • International Classification:
    B25G 300
    F16B 900
  • US Classification:
    403252
  • Abstract:
A connector arrangement for butt joining substantially hollow, tubular structural members is provided comprising a connector which is securely fastened within the end of a first member to be abutted to an extending member and whereby the head of the connector protrudes from the first member and is simultaneously and securely retained within two openings provided within the extending member. In a preferred embodiment, the two openings in the extending member extend the full length of the extending member along each side face thereof. In this manner, the joint may be effectuated at any location along the length of the extending member. The head configuration of the connector includes a spherical portion and a plate portion, which provide for a secured fit within the two openings of the extending member.
