Abstract:

An Electro-Mechanical Propulsion System for vehicles, wherein the prime mover 10, such as an internal combustion engine, drives an alternating voltage generator 20 through a first shaft 30 at a constant RPM controlled by a speed governor 40; and wherein the alternating voltage generator 20 serves as a source of energy for an electrical energy conversion unit comprising a controlled rectifier 50, a polyphase signal generator 100, an analog control unit 150, and a regulated DC power supply 140, to further provide a variable power and frequency source for an AC traction motor 60 coupled through a second shaft 70 to the vehicle wheel drive system 80. Operator manual or pedal control of the system is further provided by a speed control potentiometer 110, an acceleration control potentiometer 120, and a torque control potentiometer 130.

Abstract:

An automatic flame snuffer assembly that is detachably connected to the neck of a sealing cap that is located on a fuel lamp container. The fuel lamp container holds fuel oil having a flash temperature of approximately 240 degrees and it is used in churches, restaurants, etc. in place of candles. A wick extends up through an aperture in the top end of the sealing cap of the fuel lamp container and also upwardly through the automatic flame snuffer assembly. The automatic flame snuffer assembly has an assembly mounting sleeve and a snuffer member that are interconnected together to function to snuff out the flame on the wick of the fuel lamp container when it is tipped over.

Abstract:

A graphical user interface devices, methods, and systems for creating and editing a simulation model and for presenting the simulation model simulated within a scenario are provided. The device includes a first component that allows a user to enter and edit platforms and associated attributes for the simulation model. Commodities can be entered, edited via a second component, or assigned to a platform via a third component. A directory structure includes an organizational units and platform directory structures. The platform directory structures store platform information based on platform type. Platforms, commodities, or scenario aspects can be reviewed and edited using a graphical user interface. The present invention provides an output for allowing a user to view commodity usage at any desired aspect of the simulation model. The simulation model is created using a simulation reference modeling language.
