Abstract:

An automated banking machine () is provided. The automated banking machine may include a fascia () in operative connection with a frame (). The machine may include a plurality of hardware devices which are accessible through the fascia. The hardware devices may include a cash dispenser (), receipt printer (), and a card reader (). The fascia may include replaceable bezels () with apertures therein for providing access to hardware devices. The bezels may be operative to float with respect to the fascia and hardware devices to automatically align hardware devices with the bezels. In addition the hardware devices may include movable portions which are operative to automatically align with the bezels. The bezels may include ramps, ribs, or other angled surfaces which guide the hardware devices into alignment with the openings in the bezels.

The generated data may be used by an on-site servicer, or sent to an entity at a remote location. The visual images may be used to enhance diagnostic and servicing capabilities.

The machine includes a card reader that reads data corresponding to financial accounts from user cards and carries out transactions related to the accounts. The machine includes a camera, a microphone, and the card reader at a customer interface located at the front of the machine. A servicer display device is at a servicer interface located at the rear of the machine. The customer interface and the servicer interface can be placed in audio/visual communication. Although a first servicer located at the customer interface may not be directly visible to a second servicer located at the servicer interface, they are still able to communicate through the customer interface and servicer interface during machine servicing.
