    The invention is similar to the Poker card game and simpler than Mahjong that can be easily learned and played at home among friends or in the Las Vegas type casinos. The standard 52 poker cards are used. The game can be played by two people up to a maximum of seven people. Each player is dealt with six cards face-down to start the game. Then, each player takes turn to either get a card from the remaining deck or take the discarded card from the preceding player. The objective is to come up with a 7-card hand with the winning pattern. The winning pattern consists of 2 cards of the same ranking (a Pair) and 5 cards of the poker hand (Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four-of-a-Kind, Full House, Flush and Straight). Unlike the Poker game, there is no betting and bluffing. A simple logic and choice are made in the anticipation of the 7card in order to derive and achieve a winning hand before the other players do. The winner collects a wager from each player depending on the specific winning hand. Each winning Hand is assigned a token value. ROYAL-FLUSH is the most difficult, thus, it has the highest token value. STRAIGHT is the easiest, thus, it has the lowest token value.

    The invention is similar to the Video Poker game where a single player is playing against oneself or the machine. The standard 52 poker cards are used. When playing against oneself, after placing the bet, the cards are shuffled and 6 cards are dealt face-up and displayed on the video screen. The player starts by drawing the 7th card from the remaining deck. The objective is to come up with a 7-card hand with the winning combination. The winning pattern consists of 2 cards of the same ranking (a Pair) and 5 cards of the poker hand (Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four-of-a-Kind, Full House, Flush and Straight). If the 7 cards displayed on the video screen are one of the winning combinations, the player collects the assigned payout based on his bet. If the 7 cards are not the winning hand, the player can discard a card and a replacement card is dealt from the remaining 52-card deck. The same process will continue till the player attains the winning hand or the player has exhausted the allotted 7 tries and thus, loses his bet. When playing against the machine, 6 cards are also dealt to the machine face-down. The player and machine are then take turns to draw and discard cards till either one attains the 7 cards with the winning hand. The machine is programmed to play the game with the optimal skill. The player and the machine have equal chance to win the game. The player wins the bet if the player attains the winning hand first before the 7tries.

    A shared secret key distribution system which enables secure on-line registration for services provided by an application server through an application level security system or firewall utilizes an authentication token containing a server public key. The server public key is used to encrypt a client-generated portion of the shared secret key, and the encrypted client-generated key is sent to the server where it is recovered using a private key held by the server and combined with a server generated portion of the shared secret key to form the shared secret key. The server generated portion of the shared secret key is then encrypted by the client-generated portion of the shared secret key and transmitted to the client for recovery and combination with the client-generated portion of the shared secret key, at which time both the client and server are in possession of the shared secret key, which can then be used for mutual authentication and development of session keys to secure subsequent communications. The session keys can be used to provide dynamic configuration of a client system to provide for different or changing user entitlements.
