Abstract:

A container for receiving and holding an object comprises generally parallel front and rear panels, generally parallel side panels, and a bottom panel, the edges of the front, rear and side panels being joined together and being joined with the bottom panel to form a generally bag-like container with an open top. The top edges of the front, rear and side panels are folded toward the bottom panel to form a reinforcing cuff proximate the open top of the container. A support member includes a first portion installed within the cuff and a second portion extending from the first portion out of the cuff and beyond the top of the container. The second support member portion includes an opening for receiving a supporting member for supporting the container in a hanging condition.

A vertical plastic straight wall divider for compartments and shelves which cannot be removed unless the goods lined up against the divider in the compartment are removed; said divider permits cold air flow between the compartments when used in freezers. Partitions may be attached on said divider, if desired, either on one or both sides thereof; if the partitions are used on both sides they are locked onto said divider.

Abstract:

An apparatus is provided for automatically fabricating textile articles, such as bath throw rugs and the like. This apparatus includes devices for intermittently feeding continuous textile material suitable for fabricating the articles from a supply position to a cutting position in the apparatus. Devices successively cut slightly oversized textile articles from the continuous textile material in the cutting position. A robot mechanism successively picks-up and transports each cut article from the cutting position to an edge finishing position in the apparatus, rotates the cut articles in a predetermined pattern during edge finishing thereof and then transports the fabricated textile article to a stacking position and releases the fabricating textile article. An edge finishing apparatus receives the slightly oversized cut textile article in the edge finishing position as the article is being rotated by the robot device in its predetermined pattern and includes devices for simultaneously trimming off a predetermined width of the outside edge portion of the textile article, positioning an edge binding tape around the trimmed edge and sewing the edge binding tape to the trimmed edge of the textile article. Control devices are provide for controlling the sequential cycles of operations of the feeding device, the cutting device, the robot mechanism and the edge finishing apparatus for automatic fabrication of the textile article.

Abstract:

A modular compartment for displaying products therein. The modular compartment comprises in one unit a front panel, a pair of side panels which interlock with the front panel, and a back panel which interlocks with the side panels. The side panels have snap off sections for adjusting the depth of the modular compartment so as to adapt to different shelving dimensions. The side panels also have snap out connector pins for securing together adjacent modular compartments. One or more lateral dividers may be provided for separating products within each modular compartment. Also, an optional perforated peg panel may be snap fit onto the front panel so that mating peg clips and/or actual representative products may be displayed on the front of the modular compartment. Both the front panel and the optional perforated peg panel have guides formed therein for retaining product identifier strips.

Abstract:

A method for aligning an orthopedic implant in a joint replacement includes determining the bone and cartilage deficiency from an undegenerated state caused by wear of a joint. Then a resection of a bone in the joint is made based on the deficiency of bone and cartilage from the undegenerated state and the size of a joint implant so as to locate the joint surface of the implant in the undegenerated cartilage location. The condylar wear from the undegenerated states may be assessed at a distal and posterior location on each of a medial and a lateral femoral condyle. A distal cut is made on the femur at a location adjusting for the condylar wear from the undegenerated state. The distal cut varus-valgus angle is oriented parallel to a plane across the distal femur after adjusting for wear in the distal location on the medial and lateral condyle.
