Abstract:

An electrical connection assembly enables selective contact between terminal ends and appliance conductors while preventing inadvertent contact with terminal ends when not in use, wherein the need for complex or moveable parts is eliminated. Terminal ends are sunk into openings in a base such that they cannot be contacted by any person or object larger than the openings into which they are sunk. A spring leaf is arranged to form each terminal. The appliance conductor pins are shaped and sized to enter the openings into which the terminal ends are sunk, and to simultaneously block access to the openings by any other objects. The pins enter into and are held against the leaf springs.

Abstract:

A connector body () attached to an appliance has a first body () with four contact receptacles (-) and a magnet () which is adapted to attach and detach from a second body () having four contact pins (-) and a ferrous metal plate (). The second body () is attached to an electrical cord () with a grounded plug (). Two of the pins are the live electrical connections, and the other two pins are ground connections, co-existing so that as long as one remains in contact the grounded connection for the appliance exists. The two ground connections are spatially located relative to one another so that no matter which direction break-away occurs, at least one will always be in connection until the live connection is broken first.

Abstract:

Semiconducting devices, and more specifically back end of line (BEOL) portions for semiconducting devices that may include dielectric materials incorporating deuterium are disclosed. The semiconducting devices may include a back end of line (BEOL) portion electrically coupled to a front end of line (FEOL) portion. The BEOL portion may include at least one BEOL level having a dielectric layer. The dielectric layer may include at least one section formed from a low-k material including deuterium (D). The BEOL level(s) may also include an etch stop layer disposed over the dielectric layer, and at least one conductive structure disposed within the dielectric layer. The at least one conductive structure may extend through the dielectric layer and the etch stop layer, respectively.
