Abstract:
A cleaning agent for keratinic fibers which is essentially free of anionic surfactants is comprised, based on the weight of the cleaning agent, of from 1 to 50 wt. % of one or more cationic surfactants of wherein R is an alkyl group having from 8 to 18 carbon atoms; each of R, R, and Ris independently a C-C-alkyl group and X is a halogen or methosulfate. The cleaning agents can be used for conditioning and color protection of hair as well as the reduction and prevention of damage to hair.

Abstract:
A hair styling and shine composition and methods of using and forming the composition are disclosed. The composition includes about 0.1 wt % to about 60 wt % of a volatile silicone, about 0.1 wt % to about 20% wt % of hair fixative resin, and about 40 wt % to about 85% wt % of an organic solvent.
A microprocessor based controller for regulating the position of a stack damper in a combustion furnace by feedback control adjusting damper position in view of an operator input target value of excess oxygen and an actual monitored excess oxygen value. A feedforward control overrides the feedback control for a time period initiated by the feedforward control responding to process variables indicating increase in combustion demand.
