My work has involved counseling military service members who have had their security clearance suspended, denied or revoked due to unresolved debts. I analyze their finances, debts, and the reasons for the loss of security clearance. Recommendations are made, negotiated and implemented to resolve the debts for as little as possible. Goals also include resolving the debts and their cash flow position as quickly as possible and possibly getting negative items removed from their credit reports thereby improving their score.
After determining the best options to resolve the debts, I prepare the complete response and documentation to the Letter of Intent to Deny Security Clearance with Statement of Reason. It takes an average of 40-50 hours for each case. I have been successful in every single security clearance cases involving debts.
