    A positioner for holding and supporting an infant in either a prone or supine position consisting of a wedge having a first plane at a given angle of at least 30 degrees that is contiguous with a second plane having an angle that is less than the angle of the first plane. A bifurcated U-shaped member is located over the first plane and the extending tapered arms of the bifurcated U-shaped member contact both portions of the first plane and the second plane thereby preventing movement of the infant in a vertical direction or in a lateral direction while at the same time allowing the infant to move in a safe and unrestrained manner.

Jan is self-taught in photography. His work documents remote and isolated modern ruins. These places are of historical importance, but are nonetheless exiting social memory. His photography is recognized by a variety of associations and media including multiple awards from the International Photographers’ Association (IPA), and Photo District News (PDN). Last year, his exhibit, Nouadhibou, was nominated as the best exhibition of PhotoImagen Caribe 2010, and his work, Gunkanjima, was selected to represent the 400th anniversary of diplomatic relationships between Mexico and Japan. Recent exhibitions included presence in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Campinas, Brazil, the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City, and at KWS in Miami during Art Basel 2010.
