Ten people were rushed to Bay State Medical Center, said Jane Albert, spokeswoman for the trauma centers sister health center, Bay State Health. Five were admitted -- none in critical condition -- and the other five were still being evaluated, Albert told the Los Angeles Times.
Baystate Medical Center spokeswoman Jane Albert said the trauma center in Springfield, a city of 155,000 on the Connecticut River about 90 miles west of Boston, was treating numerous injured people. She said some had serious force trauma injuries.
