Mesquite Horn receiver Jared Atkinson announced earlier this week that he has decided to enroll at Baylor in July after originally asking for a release from his NLI. The five other freshmen who asked for releases still have the option of returning to Baylor.

Seven Baylor recruits request release from letters of intent
best in school history, but Patrick Hudson, J.P. Urquidez, Jared Atkinson, Kameron Martin, Parrish Cobb and Donovan Duvernay have requested releases from the letters of intent that bind them to the university, sources close to the players confirmed. Hudson, Urquidez and Atkinson are ESPN 300 recruits.

Baylor signed four receivers in this years class, including Sachse All-American Devin Duvernay, record breaking Navasota receiver TrenDavian Dickson, Mesquite Horns Jared Atkinson and Daingerfields Denzel Mims.
