The present invention is directed to a composition and method thereof for reducing or eliminating malodors produced by decaying arthropod cadavers comprising an effective amount of one or more entomopathogenic fungi. The invention provides a novel way to eliminate the malodors stemming from pest control methods as traps and chemical pesticides are frequently used to control pests and pest associated diseases in restaurants, commercial hotels, motels, and residential housing.

Abstract:
The present invention is directed to the combination of biopesticide and at least one exogenous cuticle degrading enzymes (e.g., a protease, chitinase, lipase and/or cutinase) for controlling (preventing or eliminating) pests. The use of an exogenous cuticle degrading enzyme increases the efficacy of the biopesticide by increasing the speed and/or efficiency of infestation of the pest resulting in faster or more effective killing or disabling of the pest by the biopesticide. The present invention accordingly provides methods for controlling a pest comprising treating a pest habitat with a combination of pesticidally effective amounts of at least one biopesticide and at least one exogenous cuticle degrading enzyme. Pest control compositions are also described.

Abstract:
The invention provides a formulation for the protection of a bioactive agent, a method of producing the formulation, and methods for using the formulation. In the formulation, the bioactive agent is coated with a water-soluble protective material, dried, and suspended in a hydrophobic carrier such as an oil. The formulation is used to deliver the bioactive to a target substrate. The bioactive agent may be a biopesticidal microbe, the protective material may be a lignin, and the target substrate may be an insect pest or plant.

The present disclosure provides stable inoculant compositions and methods for enhancing the survival and/or stability of microorganisms in an inoculant composition. In some embodiments, the microorganisms in an inoculant compositions are stabilized by the presence of one or more maltodextrins having a dextrose equivalent value of about 15 to about 20.
Pesticidal Combinations Of Yersinia And Insect Viruses
Disclosed herein are pesticicial combinations, including combinations of (and/or toxin(s) therefrom) and/or (and/or toxin(s) therefrom) with an insect virus (and/or component therefrom). As shown herein, such combinations may provide unexpected pesticidal effects and may be useful for treating insects and other pests and for enhancing plant growth and/or yield.
