Abstract:
A protective glove is provided made substantially from a laminate material. The laminate material includes a plurality of elastic strands. A first nonwoven web is attached to the plurality of elastic strands so that in a relaxed state of the elastic strands and the first nonwoven web at least one wrinkle is formed in the first nonwoven web. A second nonwoven web is also provided and is attached to the plurality of elastic strands so that in a relaxed state of the elastic strands and the second nonwoven web at least one wrinkle is formed in the second nonwoven web. The elastic strands, first nonwoven web and second nonwoven web form a laminate that is stretchable and permeable to liquid. A method of manufacture of a protective glove is also provided.

Abstract:
A polymer-coated protective garment is disclosed. The garment may be configured to fit around the arm, leg, foot or hand of a wearer. For example, in one embodiment, the protective garment comprises a glove. The glove includes a hollow member defining an opening for receiving a hand. The hollow member is made from an elastic laminate. The elastic laminate may comprise at least one nonwoven web. The hollow member further includes an elastomeric coating that covers at least a portion of the hollow member. In one embodiment, for instance, the elastomeric coating covers a palm portion and finger portions of the glove.

Abstract:
An assembly for containing and dispensing a glove pair is disclosed. The assembly is a glove pair contained within and protected by an individual pouch. The pouch is relatively small in size such that the assembly is easy for the user to transport to the place and time that the user desires to use the gloves within the pouch. Various indicia may be included with the pouch to help differentiate the type of gloves contained within the pouch or to indicate how the pouch is to be opened. A system for containing and dispensing packaged glove pairs is also disclosed. The system may include a dispensing container that contains and dispenses glove pairs enclosed in individual pouches. Instructions may be included to help the user select the appropriate gloves to meet their needs and help them select the appropriate pouch containing the appropriate gloves from amongst a plurality of pouches containing different types of gloves.

Disclosed herein are thermal moderating donnable elastic articles suitable for a variety of uses. The thermal moderating donnable elastic articles include at least one thermal moderating elastic laminate material, the laminate including at least one polymeric elastic layer and at least one extensible fibrous layer, and the extensible fibrous layer including at least one thermal regulating additive. Such thermal moderating donnable elastic articles are useful for use in protective wear products, health care and medical care products, gloves, compressive bandages and comfort-providing wraps, and the like, and are capable of moderating temperature or providing temperature change sensation to the wearer's body part enveloped by the thermal moderating donnable elastic article. Also disclosed herein are thermal moderating elastic laminate materials having one or more thermally conductive additive materials.
