Abstract:A labor grip mechanism on each side of a main frame of a birthing bed, each labor grip mechanism having a post with a free end and a hand grip mounted on the free end. A first mounting construction is provided for slidably supporting each post for simultaneous movement between a first position wherein the hand grip is stowed underneath the patient support and a second position wherein the hand grip is oriented wholly out from underneath the patient support. A second mounting construction is provided for supporting each post for simultaneous rotational movement between the second position wherein the hand grip is also oriented in a plane beneath the plane of the patient support and a third position wherein the hand grip is oriented in a plane above the plane of the patient support. A hand grip positioning device is provided for facilitating the rotational movement only when the posts are in the aforesaid second or third position.

Abstract:A medical tube holder comprising a face frame assembly, a strap assembly, a holding assembly and an adapter clip. The face frame assembly has a central member with a base with a first end and a second end, and an attachment rail extending therefrom between the ends. The strap assembly is attachable to the face frame assembly and is configured to extend about the head of a patient so as to secure the face frame assembly. The holding assembly includes a base plate, with an arm extending from a proximal end of the base plate and terminating at a transverse channel. The transverse channel is slidably movable along the attachment rail to attach the holding assembly to the face frame. The adapter clip includes a block member attachable to a medical tube, and, is attached to the holding assembly so as to define a maximum spacing therebetween.

Abstract:A patient slider device configured to move a patient from a first bed surface to a second bed surface positioned adjacent thereto. The patient slider device includes a frame, a bed engagement assembly and a patient pulling assembly. The bed engagement assembly includes a bumper with the bumper being adjustable relative to the frame. The patient pulling assembly includes a winch assembly, preferably positioned proximate a lower end of the frame, and a sheet engaging clamp assembly.
