Description:
Hi, my name is Jason Buck, and I am a lifelong resident of Palos Verdes. I am very proud of this special place and feel that I found a great job of hosting clients in a magnificent neighborhood. I love the history of the Vanderlip Estate, the exclusive bluffs and coves like Lunada Bay, the diverse climate like Portuguese Bend, and the various cultures that encompass the peninsula. I have installed a webcam which features a live view of thePacific Ocean at http://www.PalosVerdesWebcam.com Growing up by the Pt. Vicente lighthouse, I learned about the hill roaming through the vacant plains under city hall and wading through the tide pools at the bottom of the cliff. After graduating from PV High in '90, I went to USC with a Music Major then changed to International Business and graduated from Colorado University in Boulder. After managing a family business and installing hardwood floors, I realized a natural ability of hosting clients in my home town. "It was really easy for me to show visitors the peninsula and entertain them with the numerous attributes and specialties the hill has to offer. Many people have no idea at a PV oasis exists, and I know a lot of the hidden secrets that keep this place special." I was always amazed with the ocean and the life that revolves around it. Palos Verdes is special as Grey Whales migrate right off our coastline. I started a site and post video of the whales that I see at http://www.palosverdeswhales.com This year I was nominated as the Co-Chair for the International Committee at the PV Board, and I am a YPN member at the Board and PV Chamber of Commerce. I volunteer for several organizations, and I am an Eco-Broker practicing conservation daily. I had the opportunity of traveling through Europe, Central America, Australia, and Mexico which has opened my mind to various cultures and experiences allowing me to understand and appreciate the different lifestyles around the world. I have found a career in real estate and have expanded my market knowledge worldwide. I travel to Costa Rica and Panama several times a year and have built a large database of clients and associates to work with around the world. I started as a curious surfer, and have created opportunities along the Pacific Coastline from Nicaragua to Panama. "We Deliver Dreams" is a slogan I created in order to facilitate moving into Central America. There are some incredible opportunities for Income property, Second homes, land, beachfront homes, and especially retirement options. I would be happy to share my knowledge and expierence with you to help you make a great decision. My lifelong passion with music began as a local teenager, and I performed at my high school Winter Formal Dance with my band Neopolitan. I have always had a fascination with different styles of music. In November, 2005, I had one of the most rewarding experiences of my life joining a musical group called "No Boundries." This group is comprised of disabled musicians and performs at various events with organizations such as Easter Seals and the Special Olympics. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2un4Ucgq1Y&feature=channel_video_title Initially, they contacted me to provide a cd record in my home recording studio. Http://www.theseapalacestudio.com I was then invited to participate in the band as the guitarist and "seeing the importance of it all" was honored to participate. In February 2006 the band got a big break with a donation from the Gibson Foundation along with Coldwell Banker. They sponsored the band to travel to China through WACE, World America Cultural Exchange and performed in Beijing and Shanghai, including a concert on Great Wall of China. I still work in the studio helping artists find their creative energy in my peaceful environment here in Palos Verdes.
