Abstract:

A programmable logic device includes a plurality of logic blocks. Each logic block includes a plurality of macrocells, with each macrocell being configurable to register a sum of product term output. In addition, the macrocells within each logic block are arranged from a first macrocell to a last macrocell. Each macrocell is associated with a carry-in and a carry-out signal. The macrocells are configured to support a carry cascade such that the carry-out signal from the first macrocell becomes the carry-in signal for the second macrocell, and so on.

The invention relates to a media system and a method for providing a messaging service. One example media system includes a database containing digital media files, each digital media file associated with one or more categories. A subscription service receives and records subscription requests from subscribers, where each subscription request relates to one of the categories. A receiving module receives a new digital media file from a subscriber, wherein the identifier identifies the one or more categories with which the new digital media file is to be associated. A transmission module provides the new digital media file to the subscribers of the category that is associated with the new digital media file.

Abstract:

A media application determines, based on pixels of images or videos from a collection of media items, clusters of media items such that the media items in each cluster have a visual similarity, wherein the collection of media items is associated with a user account. The media application selects a subset of the clusters of media from corresponding clusters of media items based on the media items in each cluster having a visual similarity within a range of threshold similarity values. The media application causes a user interface to be displayed that includes the subset of the clusters of media.

Abstract:

Implementations described herein relate to methods, devices, and computer-readable media to generate and provide image-based creations. A computer-implemented method includes obtaining a plurality of episodes, each episode associated with a corresponding time period and including a respective set of images and person identifiers for each image. The method further includes forming a respective cluster for each episode that includes at least two person identifiers. The method further includes determining whether one or more person identifiers are included in less than a threshold number of clusters, and in response, removing the one or more person identifiers from the clusters that the one or more person identifiers that are included in. The method further includes merging identical clusters to obtain a plurality of people groups that each include two or more person identifiers and providing a user interface that includes an image-based creation based on a particular people group.

Abstract:

Implementations relate to sharing images and image albums over a communication network. In some implementations, a computer-implemented method includes determining that a shared album data structure is accessible by a device and includes references to album images. The device determines one or more suggested images from a collection of stored images associated with a user, based on determining sharing scores for the stored images. The sharing scores are based on comparing one or more characteristics of the stored images to one or more corresponding characteristics of the album images. The method includes causing display of the one or more suggested images by the device, receiving a selection of at least one selected image of the suggested images based on received user input, and causing an update of the shared album data structure with the at least one selected image to be accessible over a communication network by recipient users.

Some implementations can include a computer-implemented method and/or system for automatic suggestion to share images. The method can include identifying a plurality of images associated with a user and detecting one or more entities in the plurality of images. The method can also include constructing an aggregate feature vector for the plurality of images based on the one or more entities in the plurality of images and determining that the aggregate feature vector matches a first cluster. Abstract:

A computer system includes a dual in-line memory module (DIMM), such as a registered DIMM (RDIMM), and a non-volatile DIMM (NVDIMM). A central processing unit (CPU) of the computer system has internal cache memory locations for caching data for the DIMM and NVDIMM. A memory type range register (MTTR) of the CPU is set for write-back cache strategy for a range of memory locations in the DIMM and NVDIMM. The computer system includes a power supply that, in the event of a power failure, triggers a hardware non-maskable interrupt (NMI) and sustains power to the CPU to allow cached data to be saved to non-volatile memory locations in the NVDIMM before the computer system completely powers down.

The present invention provides methods of preparing a peptide having an N-terminal histidine, and compositions comprising a plurality of peptides prepared by the methods. The methods disclosed herein reduce racemization of the N-terminal histidine in the peptides during the synthesis process, thereby improving the yield and purity of the peptide compositions. Exemplary peptides that can be manufactured with the methods include Exenatide, Lixisenatide, and Liraglutide.
