People say "men aren't interested in therapy" - this simply isn't true. Men are very used to help seeking in many different areas of their life including mentorships, coaching, and networking. I find men are very active and involved in therapy when they feel that something will get DONE. The therapy approach I use is about learning new skills, trying them out and doing more of what works and less of what does not.
Most "men's issues" are described as men *being* problems. No wonder men are hesitant about therapy! I address what men worry about: money/investing, small business, leadership stress, job transitions, sexual/emotional loneliness, difficult bosses/coworkers, fatherhood, aging parents, divorce, and adjusting to civilian life, etc.
