A conveyor oven having a hollow conveyor frame that supports a conveyor belt within an oven chamber of the oven. A cooling fan draws air from ambient that flows through the hollow conveyor frame to cool its exterior surface to prevent harm to an operator of the oven. The cooling air may also flow through passages adjacent other exterior surfaces of the oven.
