Abstract:
A system for facilitating the use of a single telecommunication device by multiple users is disclosed herein. The system includes, but is not limited to, a telecommunication component that is adapted for attachment to a vehicle and that is configured to utilize a telecommunication network that is configured to allot a predetermined amount of usage time units to the telecommunication component. The system also includes an electronic processing device that is associated with the telecommunication component. The electronic processing device is configured to allocate a portion of the usage time units to each user of a plurality of users of the telecommunication component.
Dynamic Determination Of Optimal Route Delivery Method
A method and system for dynamic determination of optimal route delivery receives a point of interest location, a current vehicle location, and a date of first set of route directions from a telematics unit over a wireless network by a software application running on a navigation server. The application accesses the first set of route directions and a second set of route directions from a database located on a telematics service provider premises. Both the first and second set of route directions are between the current vehicle location and the point of interest. If there is a traffic obstacle along a route between the current vehicle location and the point of interest location and the traffic obstacle was implemented after the first set of directions, a live advisor sends a notification to a user and provides the user with an alternate method of delivering route directions over the wireless network.

Systems and methods are provided for disabling a vehicle. An exemplary system includes, but is not limited to an antenna that is adapted to be attached to the vehicle. The antenna is configured to transmit and receive communication transmissions. A telematics unit is communicatively connected to the antenna. The telematics unit is adapted for attachment to the vehicle and is configured to communicatively connect to a necessary sub-system of the vehicle, to receive telecommunications from a user through the antenna, and to disable the necessary sub-system in response to receiving an instruction from the user to disable the vehicle.

Abstract:
Various examples of a methods and systems are disclosed herein for routing calls at a call center based on spoken languages. In one example, a method includes, but is not limited to, receiving, by a call center, information indicating a request for assistance from a driver of a vehicle and information indicating one or more languages spoken by the driver. The call center automatically identifies an available advisor who speaks at least one language spoken by the driver. The call center automatically directs the request for assistance to the available advisor.
