The Plymouth County District Attorney's Office says 28-year-old Jason Sanderson, of Carver, and another worker had been excavating an underground water line in a trench when the incident happened Saturday afternoon in Duxbury.
Jason Sanderson, 28, worked for the Middleborough Water Department, but decided to work an extra shift for a private company over the weekend, building a water main for new-construction homes. He wanted to help out the crew and bring home a couple hundred dollars for his family.
