Abstract:

A method for managing projects for a small business using a graphical user interface (GUI). The method includes receiving, at a current time, a request to schedule a new project at a location and a future time selected by a user, identifying a plurality of available workers of the small business available to work on the new project at the future time, displaying, within the GUI, a new project avatar of the new project at the location on a map and a plurality of available worker avatars corresponding to the plurality of available workers, and assigning a first available worker of the plurality of available workers to the new project.

Abstract:

A method for producing highly uniform cell colonies in a cell culture dish with the use of stencils made from an elastomeric sheet sized to fit within the cell culture dish, having a singular opening or a plurality of openings of a number, pitch and diameter configured to optimally control the geometric growth parameters of a cell colony. The uniform cell colonies are produced by placing the stencil in a cell culture dish and hydropilizing the stencil. The stencil is overlayed with cell culture media and seeded with seed cells that are preferably grown for at least a day before the stencil is removed to produce a pattern of seeded cells with controlled pitch, colony diameter and density within the culture dish that grow to become highly uniform cell colonies. A kit with culture dish, stencil, culture media and growth media is also provided.

Abstract:

This disclosure is generally directed to a system and method for diagnosing display capabilities, such as resolution, frame rate, and content protection, of display devices and improving the performance of the display devices by optimizing the display settings based on the results of the diagnosing. Display diagnostics receives information from display devices in response to tests performed on the display devices. The display diagnostics analyzes the information and provides recommended display settings related to the display device for optimizing the display of video content on the display device.
