Abstract:
A method and system for assisting in the manufacture of composite parts such as those used for various high-strength assemblies such as aircraft wings, vertical stabilizers, racing car shells, boat hulls, and other parts which are required to have a very high strength to weight ratio. The system uses laser technology to measure the resultant surfaces of a first manufactured composite part. A computer system analyzes and compares the as-built dimensions with the required production specifications. Supplemental composite filler plies are designed including shape and dimensions. These plies are nested together into a single composite sheet and manufactured to minimize wasted material. The plies are then cut out and applied to the first part guided by a laser projection system for locating the plies on the part. The part is then re-cured. The final assembly is then re-measured for compliance with production dimensions.
The Oviedo native took to the field throwing to former UCF teammate Jeff Godfrey and former NFL wide receiver Brett Swain. His workout was run by his quarterbacks coach Jordan Palmer, and he collaborated with Bortles to script a workout of about 70 throws.
comes out of a George OLeary program is very rich so they put a keen eye on all of the Knights in action. A total of seven seniors on last years roster worked out Wednesday including offensive linemen Chris Martin, Jordan McCray and Justin McCray, wide receiver Jeff Godfrey, defensive lineman E.J. D
That's not to say Bortles lacks confidence. O'Leary points to the final drive of the Knights' upset of Bridgewater and then-No. 6 Louisville on Oct. 18 - 11 plays, 75 yards, capped by a 2-yard scoring strike to Jeff Godfrey with 23 seconds left - as Bortles' defining moment.
had a 70+ yard catch in the fourth quarter of the USC game and both catches were on 15 yard post routes. They just outran everyone after that. Calvin Pryor and Hakeem Smith will need to keep up their stellar play against those two. J.J. Worton and Jeff Godfrey are also reliable targets for Bortles.

Live updates: UCF trails No. 14 Ohio State 31-16 in fourth quarter
The Knights then went with a trick play to extend the drive. Starting quarterback Blake Bortles tossed the ball to former quarterback Jeff Godfrey, who threw a ball toward Quincy McDuffie in the end zone. Ohio State was called for pass interference on the play that was broken up. UCF could not punch
It will be their first game without Kelly, who had been at UCF with OLeary since 2006 and was a popular assistant among players. He is credited most with helping UCF make recruiting inroads into the Miami area. Kelly was the assistant that directly recruited current quarterback Jeff Godfrey.
