Abstract:

Described are computer-based methods and apparatuses, including computer program products, for testing functionality of a firewall. The testing the functionality of the firewall can include a method. The method can include selecting a plurality of valid message types, generating a percentage of valid and invalid messages from the plurality of valid message types, transmitting the plurality of valid and invalid messages to the firewall, receiving an indication of the firewall's handling of valid and invalid messages based on the transmitted message, and determining the functionality of the firewall from the received indication.

Abstract:

Implementations of disclosed systems and methods are capable of changing the frequency or other waveform characteristics dynamically based on receiving feedback about the effect of an electromagnetic pulse radiation on a target electronic device. Various implementations can be configured to emit electromagnetic pulses at a single radio frequency or a plurality of radio frequencies. For example, the frequency of the carrier electromagnetic radition in a single pulse can change during the pulse interval. As another example, a single electromagnetic pulse can comprise a frequency comb with two or more frequencies.

Disclosed are systems configured to deliver wireless charging power to electronic devices and methods for delivering wireless charging power. In some implementations, a system can include a programmable radio-frequency generator capable of generating a beam of electromagnetic pulsed radiation and plurality of solid-state amplifiers to amplify the beam of electromagnetic pulsed radiation. Abstract:

Rate domain numerical processing comprises receiving an input serial data stream on a single input wire in which a multi-valued number is represented as a rate of pulse events comprising pulses, null pulses or a combination thereof. The rate of pulse events in an output serial data stream is varied in accordance with an operand to perform a multi-valued arithmetic operation selected from multiplication, division, addition and subtraction or a combination thereof. The rate may be varied by scaling the rate by an operand, which may be implemented using a count and compare circuit topology. The output serial data stream is output on a single output wire. The rate domain operations, specifically multiplication and division are accomplished without the resource & power intensive binary multiplier and binary divisions circuits. The operations are implemented using simple registers, adders, accumulators, counters, comparators, and basic logic, which is far more SWaP-C efficient.

Described herein are methods and systems capable of generating weighted parameter sets, which can be randomly addressed for dictating a waveform of each pulse to be generated by using a probability distribution function loader to load a memory table with waveform parameter values, wherein the values are loaded according to a weighted probability distribution function. Abstract:

A method for allocating system resources includes receiving, by a processor, an assignment list that includes a first assignment and a second assignment, each assignment is assigned a priority and includes tasks associated with each assignment, assigning each assignment to a system resource according to the assigned priority of each assignment, populating a tree for the system resource, the tree including each assignment assigned to the system resource ordered by the relative priority of the assignments, generating task roots associated with each task associated with each assignment in the tree, associating each task root with a task score, defining a first system resource root that includes the task roots having the lowest task scores, calculating a first system resource root score as a function of the task scores of the first system resource root, and saving the first system resource root as the current best estimate system resource root.
