About:

Who is Jeff Hall and how or why did he become a Real Estate Broker. So let's start in the beginning... I am a native of Northern Idaho and upon becoming an adult I moved my way west to Seattle area where I lived for almost twenty years. My working career started by pushing a broom for $1.75 an hour in a Lumber yard while in High School. In college I worked for a hardware store and was finally recruited by a paint manufacturing industry which lasted for almost twenty years. A call came in one day asking if I would be interested in the hardware industry and I ran a hardware wholesale distributorship and then a very high end cabinet manufacturing company. I believe you have to try and by not trying is true failure. My whole working career has been climbing the corporate ladder starting from clerk to store manager, to purchasing manager, finally chief financial officer. Finally I had enough of the Seattle gray weather and moved to the sunshine state... Long Beach is my home and I love it. Once here I became self employed and decided to finally sell real estate. Since the eighties I have wanted to sell real estate and times were bad in the eighties... but why not give it a try anyway... and you know what... It was the best decision of my life. My pre-real estate projects include new construction, renovations, and turning old warehouses into loft/condo homes. While working full time I have always had my hands in other business adventures and advising on some very cool projects. I love people and have spent many hours volunteering in such places as hospital, prison, working with juvenile offenders and more. To be effective in real estate one needs to be continually learning. It is not an easy business and it requires those who are successful to seek to learn. Each year time is taken to learn new ways of doing business... new ways of servicing clients better and simply staying in touch. They say real estate is a people business and I agree, but as important is knowledge of the industry and market something only a full time agent can achieve. Over the past few years I have worked mainly with buyers... something many agents shy from when times are good... and seek when times are bad. I love buyers and the challenges they bring to the table and each time there is a lesson learned. Because I work with buyers it helps make me a better listing agent.
