Abstract:

A computer mouse includes a head and a tail. The head is configured to detect movement relative to a reference surface. The head is selectively switchable between an on state and an off state. The tail is connected to the head and is moveable between a curved configuration and a flat configuration. The tail is configured to switch the head to the on state when in the curved configuration and to switch the head to the off state when in the flat configuration.

Abstract:

Embodiments related to the tactile enhancement of a computer input device are disclosed herein. In one disclosed embodiment, a method of making removable tactile-enhancing grips for a computer input device is disclosed. The method comprises heating a thermoplastic elastomeric sheet to a temperature at which the thermoplastic elastomeric sheet is capable of receiving and retaining an imprinted feature, pressing onto the thermoplastic elastomeric sheet a plate comprising a pattern, thereby embossing the pattern onto the thermoplastic elastomeric sheet, and cooling the thermoplastic elastomeric sheet to a temperature at which the pattern is retained in the thermoplastic elastomeric sheet. An adhesive layer is then formed on an opposite side of the thermoplastic elastomeric sheet as the pattern.

Abstract:

A flexible sleeve includes a first flexible sheet of a first hardness. The first flexible sheet has a first perimeter including a first lip edge and a first pocket edge. The flexible sleeve also includes a second flexible sheet of a second hardness, different than the first hardness. The second flexible sheet has a second perimeter including a second lip edge and a second pocket edge. The second pocket edge is joined to the first pocket edge, and the second lip edge is free from the first lip edge so that the first flexible sheet and the second flexible sheet collectively form a pocket having a mouth defined by the first lip edge and the second lip edge. The flexible sleeve further includes a connector joined to the mouth and configured to mate the mouth to a head of a device while the pocket substantially covers a tail of the device.

Abstract:

A mounting bracket mountable on a bow for removably attaching and precisely calibrating an arrow support mechanism. The mounting bracket includes a mounting plate and a module releasably attachable thereto. The mounting plate is attachable to the bow and has an alignment surface integrally formed thereon. The module also has a corresponding integrally formed alignment surface. When the mounting plate and the module are releasably attached together, the alignment surfaces seatingly engage one another to automatically and repeatably position the module in a predetermined aligned relationship with the mounting plate, and thereby the bow.

Abstract:

AN HMD is disclosed including a pair of temple arms which wrap around a portion of a user's head. The temple arms provide long axis (front to back) compression, and compression against sides of the user's head. Such a distribution of forces prevents resting of the HMD primarily on the nose, ears or the top of the head, and allows the HMD to be worn in a way that is comfortable and non-intrusive.
