A fluid sensor assembly is provided for sensing a fluid property in-line. A braking assembly includes a depressible brake pedal. The brake pedal remains in a neutral position when not depressed. A link arm is mechanically linked with the brake pedal. The link arm moves as a function of a position of the brake pedal. A bell crank is mechanically linked with the link arm. The bell crank moves as a function of a position of the link arm. A stop member moves with the bell crank. Abstract:

A vehicle has a primary braking system and a secondary braking system. The vehicle has a dual brake valve with a primary circuit for pressurizing the primary system in response to application of force to a brake pedal, and a secondary circuit for pressurizing the secondary system in response to application of the primary circuit or force to a brake pedal. The vehicle also has an actuator for actuating the secondary circuit of the dual brake valve independently of the primary circuit, to provide for advanced braking functions such as roll stability and yaw stability. The actuator may be pneumatic or electric. The actuator can be energized by a vehicle electronic control unit in response to receiving a sensor output indicative of a vehicle condition.

An electrical connector for connecting the cables interconnecting the tractor and trailer portion of a combination vehicle includes axially offset portions, each of which carries a set of electrical conductors. The conductors in one of the portions provide the standard electrical connections between the portions of the vehicle for tail lights, turn signals, etc. Conductors in the other portion provide the connections for an electropneumatic actuated braking system. The offset portions are designed so that the portion carrying the connections for the tail lights, stop lights, turn signals, etc are compatible with existing connectors so that a portion of the vehicle equipped with an electropneumatic system may be used with another portion of the vehicle which is not equipped with an electropneumatic braking system.
