Abstract:An improved method for increasing listening comprehension in one's own or a foreign language, and hence, conversational ability. This method improves learners' listening comprehension by starting them at speeds at which they can successfully process auditory data. Then processing ability is improved by increasing flow rate and phonemic discrimination.
