A distribution transformer monitor includes a housing arranged for positioning in proximity to a distribution transformer vessel. The monitor also includes a sensor arranged in the housing, which is positioned to generate digital data associated with at least one environmental condition that exists inside the distribution transformer vessel, and a processing circuit arranged to determine from the generated digital data that the at least one environmental condition has crossed a threshold. The sensor may include any one or more of a temperature sensor, a camera, an accelerometer, a pressure sensor, and a microphone. The housing of the distribution transformer monitor may include at least one indicator legend arranged to facilitate positioning of the housing in a substantially vertical orientation relative to the distribution transformer vessel.

In at least some cases, an electric power industry structure monitor is arranged as a tilt sensor monitor. In at least some cases an electric power industry structure monitor is arranged as a high-voltage tower (e.g., power pole) monitor. In some cases, the electric power industry structure monitor includes a housing arranged for positioning on an electric power industry structure, and a sensor arranged in the housing. The sensor is positioned to generate digital data associated with at least one environmental condition that exists proximal to the electric power industry structure monitor. The monitor also includes a processing circuit arranged to determine from the generated digital data that the at least one environmental condition has crossed a threshold.
A torque-limiting fastener and a method of assembling the same includes a drive shell, a driven fastener carried by the drive shell, and a clutch axially between the fastener and the drive shell. The drive shell may have a shell base wall including drive-off surfaces, drive-on surfaces, and a shell skirt extending axially away from the shell base wall. The driven fastener may have a fastener base wall including driven-on surfaces, driven-off surfaces, drive tang pockets between the driven-on and driven-off surfaces, and driven-on beam pockets, and a radially outer wall extending in an axial direction away from the fastener base wall. The clutch may have a plate, a driven beam, and a driven tang, wherein the driven beam and the drive tang are cantilevered with respect to the plate. A drive shell, driven fastener, and clutch are individually disclosed.
