Abstract:
A golf putter head has a main body portion with a front, striking face, a lower, sole face, a heel, a toe, and a rear face, and an arcuate indent or recess in the sole face extending out to the outer perimeter of the heel, toe and rear face. The main body portion is of a first material, and an arcuate weighting member of a second material heavier than the first material is secured in the indent. The weighting member has a lower face flush with the sole face of the main body portion, and an outer peripheral face flush with the adjacent outer perimeter portions of the rear face, heel and toe of the body portion.

Abstract:
A metal wood golf club head of hollow construction incorporating a center of gravity (CG) depth of at least 40 mm, 1.57″, or greater, as measured rearwardly from the leading edge of the striking face, in combination with a shaft bore in the club head having a 0.370 bore diameter. The vertical height of the metal wood is half the club's breadth dimension between the front and rear of the club head and the vertical CG location is no greater than half the CG depth dimension. A bounce angle is incorporated into the leading portion of the bottom sole of the club head.

Abstract:
A ball striking face for a golf driver, fairway wood and hybrid type golf club head having a central impact area with a average thickness and additional multiple distinct areas outside the central impact area with other average face thicknesses for the improved transfer of energy to a golf ball for additional distance without any additional effort by the golfer. The striking face provides a transfer of energy at the central impact area which does not exceed CT values of 257 u sec. and an improved transfer of energy in one or more areas outside the central impact area that provides CT values greater than 257 u sec. but not greater than 275 u sec. when tested with the United States Golf Association's CT test protocol.

Abstract:
Apparatus and methods are described herein to provide a golf club, such as, for example, a putter, with a select loft angle and/or a select lie angle. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a golf club having a golf club head, a hosel, and a hosel shim. The golf club head has a hosel shank and the hosel is configured to be coupled to the hosel shank. The hosel shim is configured to be coupled to the hosel to position the hosel at a select angle relative to the golf club head such that the golf club has a select lie angle. The hosel shim is further configured to limit rotational movement of the hosel relative to the golf club head such that the select lie angle is maintained when the hosel is coupled to the golf club head.
In some embodiments, an adjustable putter includes a club body defining a substantially planar face for striking a golf ball, and a hosel including a hosel neck and a hosel adapter configured to be received within a hosel chamber defined by the club body. The hosel adapter defines an interior channel. The adjustable putter also includes a shaft attachable to the hosel neck, and a housing column. The hosel adapter is configured to rotate about the housing column so as to adjust a lie angle of the hosel neck, and the hosel chamber is configured to prevent rotation of the hosel adapter from increasing the lie angle beyond a predetermined value.

Abstract:
A driver type golf club head formed of a metal shell and having an overall volume of at least 400 cc having a geometry and weight distribution and a unique multi-level striking face that locates the center of gravity of the club head below a horizontal midline of the striking face and further locates the center of gravity behind said striking face at least 38 percent of the distance between said striking face and said rear surface or 42 mm behind the striking face.
