Abstract:

A vehicle computer system includes a display and a processor in communication with the display. The processor is programmed to output a user interface that includes a map portion on the display, wherein the map portion includes map images indicative of at least road geometry and street names, and output on the user interface a route guidance portion including one or more guidance routes indicative of a programmed route to a destination. The processor is also further programmed to output a maneuver portion indicative of an upcoming maneuver associated with the programmed route, wherein the maneuver portion includes a maneuvering street sign image indicative of an upcoming street associated with the upcoming maneuver, wherein the maneuvering street sign image is programmed to flash at a predetermined rate upon approaching the upcoming maneuver.

Abstract:

A system in a vehicle that includes a camera configured to capture images proximate the vehicle; a GPS transceiver configured to identify a location of the vehicle, and a processor in communication with the camera and the GPS transceiver and programmed to determine the vehicle is proximate to a point of interest (POI) associated with a security mode of the vehicle. The processor is further programmed to, in response to the vehicle proximate to the POI and identifying an occupant of the vehicle outside of the vehicle, send a request to the camera to capture one or more images of an environment proximate the vehicle.

Abstract:

A vehicle system may include a camera configured to output imagery of a surrounding of a vehicle. The vehicle system may also include a touch panel screen configured to display the imagery and receive one or more inputs from a finger of a user when the imagery is displayed on the touch panel screen. The vehicle system may further include a processor in communication with the camera and touch panel screen, wherein the processor is programmed to associate a path for the vehicle to drive in response to the one or more inputs from the finger and execute one or more driving commands to operate the vehicle along the path in reverse.

Abstract:

A system in a vehicle includes a global positioning system (GPS) receiver configured to identify a location of the vehicle, a transceiver configured to communicate with a remote server, and a processor in communication with the GPS receiver and the transceiver. The processor is programmed to receive a signal from the remote server indicating a delivery driver is located proximate the vehicle, send a request to the remote server in response to the signal, receive a drop-off location located between the vehicle and the delivery driver in response to the request to the remote server, and output a notification at the vehicle identifying the drop-off location.

Abstract:

According to one embodiment, a user interface of a device comprising a display configured to output information related to a user interface of the multimedia system, wherein the user interface includes one or more icons indicative of an application of the multimedia system, and a processor in communication with the display and programmed to in response to a first input from a user, allow an arrangement of the one or more icons on the user interface and adjust an original size of the icons to a smaller size, set the arrangement of the one or more icons and adjust the smaller size icons to the original size icons, and output the original size icons on the display with the arrangement.
