Abstract:
A chimeric phosphorylation indicator is provided. A chimeric phosphorylation indicator can contain a donor molecule, a phosphorylatable domain, a phosphoaminoacid binding domain (PAABD), and an acceptor molecule. A chimeric phosphorylation indicator also can contain a phosphorylatable polypeptide and a fluorescent protein, wherein the phosphorylatable polypeptide is contained within the sequence of the fluorescent protein, or wherein the fluorescent protein is contained within the sequence of the phosphorylatable polypeptide. Also provided are polynucleotides encoding such chimeric phosphorylation indicators, as well as kits containing the indicators or the polynucleotides. In addition, a method of using the chimeric phosphorylation indicators to detect a kinase or phosphatase in a sample is provided.

Abstract:
The present invention is directed to variants of These variants are either resistant to the effects of MDIBOA/DIMBOA, or hypersensitive to phenolic induction. These variants are improved over wild-type Agrobacterium in their ability to transform plant cells. Also provided are methods for their selection. In a distinct embodiment, there also is provided a modified Ti plasmid that increases the ability of an Agrobacterium strain to transform host cells. The plasmid contains virA and virG genes, under the control of the coliphage T5 Ppromoter.

Abstract:
Provided are novel nanostructures comprising hollow nanospheres and nanotubes for use as chemical sensors and molecular specific photothermal coupling agents. The nanostructures can be used in laser-induced phototherapy for treatment of cancer and other disorders. The nanostructures can also be used as a sensor that detects molecules. The nanostructures are of particular use in the fields of clinical diagnosis, clinical therapy, clinical treatment, and clinical evaluation of various diseases and disorders, manufacture of compositions for use in the treatment of various diseases and disorders, for use in molecular biology, structural biology, cell biology, molecular switches, molecular circuits, and molecular computational devices, and the manufacture thereof. The hollow gold nanospheres have a unique combination of spherical shape, small size, and strong, tunable, and narrow surface plasmon resonance absorption covering the entire visible to near IR region.
Provided is a process of conducting a collaborative session between two analytics graphical user interfaces (GUI), the process including: instructing a first computing device associated with a first user to display a first GUI having a first graph depicting a first set of values of a first metric; determining that the first graph is to be shared on a second computing device associated with a second user in a second GUI; inferring that the second user prefers to view the first metric in a second graph based on a record of previous interactions in which the second graph was selected to view the first metric; and in response, instructing the second computing device to display in the second GUI the second graph depicting at least some of the first set of values of the first metric.
Provided is a process of configuring a dashboard of a graphical user interface, the process including: obtaining identifiers of metrics; obtaining features that are properties of the metrics; accessing in a graph-effectiveness matrix effectiveness scores corresponding to the features; selecting a plurality of graphs to graphically represent the metrics in a dashboard; and instructing a computing device to display the dashboard.
System, Method, And Computer-Accessible Medium For Determining At Least One Characteristic Of At Least One Tissue Or At Least One Mri Measurement Condition Of The At Least One Tissue Using Active Contrast Encoding Magnetic Resonance Imaging Procedure(S)
In another exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure is an exemplary system, method and computer-accessible for determining a characteristic(s) of a tissue(s), that can include, for example, receiving magnetic resonance imaging information regarding the tissue(s) including a time-intensity curve(s) of the tissue(s) based on a contrast agent(s) concentration, actively encoding a part of the time-intensity curve(s) with a magnetic resonance relaxation property(s) of the tissue(s) by varying a magnetic resonance imaging scan parameter(s) to generate encoded data during magnetic resonance data acquisition, and determining the tissue characteristic(s) based on the encoded data.
