Abstract:
Methods and apparatuses to cancel database queries from a web application user interface in a networked database application. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a user request to cancel a query previously sent to a database and calling an application programming interface (API) provided by the database to terminate one or more statements running on the database, the one or more statements being related to the query.

Abstract:
Navigating to a data preparation context is disclosed. A set of data preparation operations is performed on one or more data sets to generate a set of answer sets in a first application. A final answer set in the set of answer sets is provided to a second application. In response to a user specification of a source-related query, a reference associated with the source-related query is obtained. A corresponding subset of the set of answer sets associated with one or more corresponding or relevant data preparation operations is determined according to the obtained reference. The corresponding subset of the set of answer sets associated with the one or more data preparation operations are presented in the first application according to the obtained reference.

Abstract:
After determining a trip order has a high risk, verification information unavailable in a passenger information database system can be requested and provided for a passenger of the account. Validity of the verification information can be determined using a verification service and stored in a passenger information database. A decision for the trip order can be determined based on the validity of the verification information stored in the passenger information database.

Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for data security grading. An exemplary method for data security grading, implementable by a computer, may comprise receiving a request to access a query data field, searching for the query data field from a security level table, in response to finding the query data field from the security level table, obtaining from the security level table a security level corresponding to the query data field, and in response to not finding the query data field from the security level table, determining a security level corresponding to the query data field based at least on a lineage tree and the security level table. The lineage tree may trace the query data field to one or more source data fields, and the security data level table may comprise one or more security levels corresponding to the one or more source data fields.

Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for near real-time IP user mapping. Such methods may include obtaining IP address assignment data points from different sources including an authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) server of a private network, a service provider that provides a computer-based service within the private network, and user devices that have access to the private network. The methods may also include applying an IP mapping rule to the obtained IP address assignment data points to generate IP address mapping.

Abstract:
Process states of computing devices may be collected for processing. Process event information of a first computing device may be determined based on an observation of process creation events and process termination events, a garbage collection, and a process scan. The process event information may be provided to a second computing device.

New Type of Extremely Reactive Substance Discovered in the Atmosphere
iscovery suggests that there could be plenty of other things in the air that we dont yet know about. Indeed, the air surrounding us is a huge tangle of complex chemical reactions. As researchers, we need to keep an open mind if we want to get better at finding solutions, concludes Jing Chen.

Entirely new kind of 'highly reactive' chemical is found in Earth's atmosphere
'We can now show, through direct observation, that these compounds actually form in the atmosphere, that they are surprisingly stable and that they are formed from almost all chemical compounds,'said Jing Chen, a PhD student at the Department of Chemistry and second author of the study.

An Entirely New Kind of Highly Reactive Chemicals Has Been Found in The Atmosphere
Further investigations will no doubt begin to unravel the role hydrotrioxides play in our planet's atmospheric cocktail. As University of Copenhagen researcher Jing Chen notes, it really is just the start.
