People ask me why I left my previous occupation to become a real estate professional. It is simple - I love what I do! All the years I spent in the corporate world, with several different multi-nationals, gave me business knowledge and people skills that are essential to success in almost any field. Even when I had my own business, working as a consultant to help business owners align their organizations and talent base to meet their strategic goals, I spent my spare time doing what you are doing....surfing the internet for Ocean City real estate! Back in 1997, the business I was working for wanted me to take a position in southern New Jersey, and what sold me on moving was that I realized I could live at the shore. I started in Cape May and drove up the coast, spending time looking at each town until I got to Ocean City and fell in love with it! I learned first hand what it is like to try to find a home in Ocean City, and because I was looking for a year-round residence, it has given me a different perspective than many who only approach Ocean City as a second home market. The realtor I worked with continued to ask me to look at properties with him and give him my opinion of their worth, and I realized that it was time to once again switch professions. I got my license in 2001 and achieved the Circle of Excellence Gold Award in 2004, selling over $17 million in properties. I enjoy working with both buyers and sellers, and devote most of my efforts to marketing the properties I list for sale. I believe that the secret to selling properties is to discover what makes each one unique, and emphasize that uniqueness throughout the marketing campaign. Look for my listings anywhere online....I try to syndicate them as widely as possible! I realize that buying or selling a home is not just a big decision, but a process in itself, and focusing on making the process work for the individuals involved is what brings results. That means educating the new buyer about the whole market and helping them identify what they really want; it also means being ready with hard data for those who like to crunch the numbers. If you want to work with someone who will work at your pace to meet your needs, just e-mail me or give me a call! By the way, I don't work all the time. I am an avid photographer and have added some Ocean City scenes to my site for your viewing pleasure. I also hike in the Pinelands, body surf in the summer, bike and run and spend time sailing and power boating. When I have time, I enjoy a leisurely round of golf. Of course, I check out what's for sale along the fairways!
