Abstract:

A precise adjustment indicator holder in which a position indicator is carried with respect to a work tool and a work piece. The indicator holder connects to the quill of the work tool, such as a machine tool, or other supporting device and is comprised of a pair of arms which are pivotally connected to one another and movable in planes parallel to and relative to one another. The arms are provided with abutments to limit the degree of movement such that precise final adjustment of the positioning of the work tool can be achieved.

Abstract:

A torque limiting nut comprising a nut cap and a nut base with axially aligned bores to receive a fastener such as a bolt. The base and the cap are constructed so that the two engage one another in such manner that opposed and serrated surfaces on one or both of the base and the cap cause the two to rotate together about a threaded bolt or stud until a predetermined torquing force is reached. Thereafter, one of the cap or base will slip relative to the other allowing for rotation of one relative to the other. In this way, a required torque level can be applied to the nut to cause a rotation thereof on a threaded shank of a bolt or other fastener until that predetermined torque force has been reached.

Abstract:

A single line control unit to control the flight movement of a model aircraft attached onto the end of a single control line tethered to a fishing rod assembly comprises a hollow tube slidably mounted about the control line between the handle and the first eyelet of the fishing rod assembly. The control line is preferably secured to a casting reel positioned between the handle of the fishing rod and the control unit. The control unit enables the user to provide the desired amount of leverage and tension on the control line and thus control the model aircraft movement to and from the rod and allow the aircraft to be manipulated into executing a variety of stunts. The control unit is provided with an internal bearing surface on each end to prevent the control line from wearing the interior surface of the control unit. Further, the single line control assembly may include a weighted member attached to the control line at a position approximate the model aircraft to cause the model aircraft to roll upon proper manipulation of the control unit.
