Born in St. Louis, MO. Graduated from Vashon H.S. in January,1966. Served 26 years, 6 months and 7 days on active duty in the U.S. Army. I am a retired Sergeant Major and graduate of class 25 of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy. My military specialties includes logistics, contracting, and instruction. Graduate of El Paso and the University of Maryland. Majored in General Management and Management/Psychology. I am a retired High School teacher certified in Military Science. I am married with three kids and five grandkids. I settled in Northern Virginia after retiring from the Army.

Bragging Rights:

Survived the height of the Viet-Nam Conflict at the age of 20. By name appointment to President Clinton's 1st inaugural committee. Featured in Jet Magazine, 1 FEB. 1993 on pages 12 and 13. Earned the Distinguished Instructor Award from The U.S. Army Quartermaster School at Fort Lee, VA in 1972. Named Educator of the Year new to Woodbridge Senior High School in !994. Graduate of Class 25, United States Sergeants Major Academy in July of 1985. Promoted to Sergeant Major out of the secondary zone, the 1st time considered. Retired from the Army and teaching.
