Abstract:A laterally movable hand held motor driven cutting tool adapted to cut grooves of predetermined depth in wood, has a cutting bit with a hollow tubular cutting end. A plurality of peripheral chisel shaped cutting edges are formed in the tubular end. The cutting edges are spaced by semi-elliptical knife-like portions of the tubular end. A depth adjusting ring and guide are provided to control the depth of the grooves.
