With 20+ years of experience successfully filling various positions, to include welding: I am trained and certified, able to pass weld test up to 6G utilizing TIG or SMAW to perform repairs to the ship's hull, plumbing and high pressure piping systems and structural members for the US Navy. I perform and have many years of brazing, electrical arc welding, oxyacetylene welding and cutting, and MIG/TIG welding. I have repaired ships plumbing, low/high pressure piping systems to include; high pressure steam from boiler systems, hydraulic and fuel system. Fabricated damage control patches in emergency situations, sheet metal ducting for ships ventilation system, brackets, ladders, and platforms. Use and read blueprints, drawings or sketches to complete repairs maintenance data forms, order repair parts and tools or to fabricate new structures or piping.
