A cryptographic system and method for encrypting and decrypting data using public key cryptography. The encryption and decryption may be divided into tasks that may operate in parallel. Abstract:

Ownership of a secure process is enabled with a cryptographic system. Methods initializing and operating the cryptographic system transfer control from the loading program to the loaded program and, in essence from the cryptographic system vendor to its end-user. As a result, ownership of the secure process can be relinquished to the end-user so that it alone can subsequently use the cryptographic system to control the secure process of loading and running its user-programs. The cryptographic system and methods allow for secure operations and protect against tampering with application software. The application program is retrieved from an encrypted file in external memory and authenticated by the cryptographic system before being executed.

An improved through-door viewing device comprising a generally rectangular telescope, a lens mounted in one end of said telescope, an eyepiece mounted in the opposite end of said telescope, a window formed in one side of said telescope adjacent said one end, an escutcheon mounting said telescope in a door for sliding and rotating motion within said escutcheon, a mirror mounted within said telescope and pivotable between a first retracted position lying substantially parallel to the wall of said telescope out of the line of vision through said telescope and a second extended position lying across said line of vision in position to direct vision from said eyepiece through said window of said telescope, flange means responsive to inward sliding of said telescope to move said mirror to said retracted position, and spring means responsive to sliding of said telescope outwardly to urge said mirror to said extended position.

Abstract:

A device for temporarily locking a door which has an extension arm having one end secured perpendicularly to a channel straddling an edge of the door and extending away from the channel and a retainer arm telescoped onto the retainer arm that can be oriented either vertically or horizontally for engagement with the wall so that the locking device can be positioned at any location on either the top or vertical unhinged edge of the door. A bar may also be attached to the retaining arm when the retaining arm is oriented in the horizontal position. The means for securing the device to the door is also provided with an adjustable spacer means for attachment to a door having one of a range of thicknesses.

Abstract:

The present invention relates to a method for managing IoT devices by a security fabric. A method is provided for managing IoT devices comprises collecting, by analyzing tier, data of Internet of Things (IoT) devices from a plurality of data sources, abstracting, by analyzing tier, profiled element baselines (PEBs) of IoT devices from the data, wherein each PEB includes characteristics of IoT devices; retrieving, by executing tier, the PEBs from the analyzing tier, wherein the executing tier is configured to control network traffic of IoT devices of a private network; generating, by the executing tier, security policies for IoT devices from PEBs of the IoT devices; and controlling, by the executing tier, network traffic of the IoT devices of the private network to comply with the security policies
