Abstract:

A set of network communications devices shares available power among themselves to meet overall system power loading. An individual device is configured to include a local power supply delivering power to a local power bus at a local supply voltage varied in response to a voltage control signal. A protection component is connected between the local power bus and an external power cable used to connect the device to another device for sharing power. The protection component provides an interruptible low-impedance DC path for carrying current based on direction and magnitude of a voltage difference between the local power bus and the external power cable. Control circuitry is used to: (a) drive a current-sharing bus connected among the devices to influence a value of a system current-sharing signal indicating a level of system power loading among the devices; (b) generate a difference signal indicating a difference between local power loading of the local power supply and the system power loading reflected by the system current-sharing signal; and (c) generate the voltage control signal based on the difference signal to achieve a predetermined sharing of the system power loading by the local power supply.

Abstract:

The present invention provides fully human monoclonal antibodies that specifically bind to GPNMB, and uses thereof. Nucleotide sequences encoding, and amino acid sequences comprising, heavy and light chain immunoglobulin molecules, particularly sequences corresponding to contiguous heavy and light chain sequences spanning the framework regions and/or complementarity determining regions (CDRs) are provided. The present invention also provides immunoconjugates comprising anti-GPNMB antibodies and methods of using such immunoconjugates. The present invention further provides bi-specific antibodies comprising an anti-GPNMB antibody component and an anti-CD3 component, and methods of using such bispecific antibodies.

Abstract:

A load bearing two-way pallet fabricated as a permanent piece of hardware from tubular members integrally joined with transverse load bars embraced and enclosed by support rails. A common tube cross section is employed throughout with intermediate notching that reinforces complimentary engagement of one notched member with the other, and with end notching that reinforces the terminal ends of the tube members that are engaged with an embracing tube member. A feature is the method of manufacture wherein a rectangular and planar ladder-form is initially fabricated and the members thereof interjoined, followed by bending reformation of the rail members thereof so as to establish upwardly open transversely disposed channels for the reception of lifting forks, and openings beneath raised load bearing bars so as to receive the longitudinal insertion of lifting forks.

Abstract:

A device for transferring semiconductor wafers from a first wafer carrier to a second wafer carrier with each wafer carrier having a pair of grooved sides for receiving and holding a number of vertically spaced wafers in horizontal planes and with each wafer carrier having front and rear openings. The device comprises a base having a flat upper surface. A wall member is secured to and extends upwardly from the surface midway between the sides thereof and near one end of the base. The wall member is spaced above the surface to present a slot for receiving a web forming a part of the wafer carrier as the wafer carrier moves over the surface. The wall member has a vertical end face which enters a wafer carrier as the wafer carrier is moved over the surface, whereby the wall member forces the wafers out of the first wafer carrier and into the second wafer carrier while the wafers remain in horizontal planes and vertically spaced with respect to each other. A plate above the wall member prevents damage to the wafers of the first wafer carrier when the wafer carrier is lowered onto the surface prior to transfer of the wafers. Side rails on the base keep the wafer carrier centrally located with respect to the wall member prior to and during the wafer transfer step.
